Greetings!
Welcome to the January issue of New Easy Women
News. Happy New Year! The picture at right is from our recording session in September when we taped an audio message for EmpoweringMessages.com. Lots of fun! This month, we explore our perspectives on creating a life of ease, and we hear from our New Easy Woman of the Month Heather Fougnier about the amazing life she has created. We've also got some exciting events planned for early 2007. Take a look! And as always, we'd love to hear from YOU! Hope you enjoy! |

New Easy Women Live with Ease
She Said / She Said Lynne says: New Easy Women live with ease. I’m surprised by how many people find this statement uncomfortable and question it. Although Deb and I know exactly what we mean when we use it, I’ve come to realise that’s not necessarily what people are hearing. What some people hear is ‘new easy women put their feet up and take it easy’. This then brings up thoughts of selfishness, laziness and irresponsibility. After all how can life be easy unless you stop looking after your children properly or stop going to work? No wonder they feel uncomfortable about the thought of creating this for themselves! So, what do we mean? My perspective is that we can and should all be creating lives that work for us, lives that flow with joy and inspire us - that don’t feel like a struggle or a drain on our energy. Does this mean we are suggesting that you just drop whatever it is that you are finding difficult or hard work? Absolutely not! If you are one of the many women, for example, who are juggling a relationship, motherhood and a career of course none of those are going away. What we are suggesting is that you can choose to have all those things in your life in a fun and joyous way rather than them be a burden or a struggle. How can you create this? That depends on where you are in your life, what beliefs you have and how willing you are to allow that it is possible. What you can do right now is allow yourself the time and space to reconnect with who you really are. Remember the self that has got lost in all of those demands on you. Simply doing that can be enough to provide clarity and awareness about some of the choices you have made. Is what you are doing what you really want to be doing? Do you need to continue to do things the way you have been? Is there anything you could let go of? What does bring you joy and inspiration? Is it present in your life? By looking at what is happening from different perspectives you can make different choices about who you are being in all areas of your life. You don’t have to feel exhausted or pulled in too many directions. To use my earlier example, you really can have a partner, children and a career and have life be a wonderful, exciting, inspiring adventure! Deb says: Well, as usual, Lynne has said it pretty darn well! I guess I'd just like to add that I think it is becoming easier to be easy. Something significant around ease has shifted in the collective consciousness and many people are finding that things that felt difficult in the past are appearing in their lives with ease. Once they become clear on their intentions and what they choose to create in their lives, it is quickly becoming their reality. And it happens with minimal effort. In fact, it is not so much a 'figuring out', as it is an 'allowing' of your most magnificent potential. This is evolution with ease! Very exciting times! |

Heather Fougnier
Heather had all of the indicators of "success". Her career was moving along at a fast pace and she'd recently been promoted to the executive level. She had the big house, the great marriage and all the “stuff” that she thought equated to success and yet she was not happy. Read on to learn how Heather created her own unique recipe for success... We are always looking for New Easy Women to highlight each month. Please let us know if you, or a woman you know, would be willing to share your experience and inspire our readers. |

Upcoming Events in 2007
We are off to Israel next week! We are running a New Easy Women Weekend in Jerusalem from January 26th - 27th, a one day Introduction to Evolutionary Coaching on January 28th, and will present at the 2nd Annual International Coaching Conference in Tel Aviv on January 30. In March, Lynne will be in the US with Deb to lead a New Easy Women Weekend at Loon Mountain in New Hampshire on March 9-11. Please let Deb know ASAP if you'd like to attend as space is limited. We will be running our first ever Event for Men in Boston, March 3 & 4 thanks to Lisa Johnson who attended the last weekend we held at Loon. We will also be participating in several events at UMass Lowell during International Women's Week, March 3-10. The New Easy Women Transitions Group also begins in March in the US. This will be an 8 week program designed for women to create their next adventure! The group is limited to eight participants and we know it will be a powerful and transformational experience. In May, Deb will join Lynne and Mary Lunnen in the UK where we will be running a New Easy Women Weekend in Devon, May 11- 13. We are also working with friends in Denmark to create an event there the following weekend. More to come! Our events continue to become more co-creational - just as we'd intended. This movement definitely has an energy all it's own! Please let us know if you are called to co-create an event or weekend with us. |
