Greetings!

What a fun and busy March! Lots of New Easy Women happenings as part of Women's Week. Hope things are popping for you this spring - they certainly are here! The sunshine is glorious, potential is in the air and possibilities unlimited.

Did you know that April 1st was once the start of the new year? That makes so much sense as it is a time of new birth and awakening after the winter months.

What is spring inspiring you to do?

Enjoy!

New Easy Women Know That There Is Always More
She Said / She Said

Deb says: New Easy Women know that there is always more... Now having said that, they may not always know what exactly that is! But they do know that it is true. Right now I am in a 'more' stage, yet it looks different than it might have not too long ago. At one time, my 'more' looked like more things to do, more places to go, more on my plate, more striving to get 'somewhere'.

Today, 'more' looks a lot different. It is about being more of myself wherever I am. It has to do with not just showing up to teach my class at UMass, but showing up as 'more' of me and being aware that there is 'more' to my students than they may be presenting in any given moment. It is about being conscious about who I am being and always asking myself whether there is more I can bring, more I can show, more I can be, more potential in what I am seeing. In the career transition consulting I do, it is about being in the question of how I bring more of myself to every conversation, to every moment. It is also about seeing and knowing my clients as more.

At home, I am also aware of being more, of noticing more. How do I be more to my kids, my husband. Notice I didn't say 'for' my kids and husband. This is not about striving to be a 'better person', by someone else's standards. It is about my own conscious awareness of who I am being and whether it is in alignment with who I really am. Because I have chosen to continually evolve everything, and that means 'more'! .

So if it feels that good why would there need to be more - how can it possibly get any better? Trust me it can - life just keeps on getting more and more exciting. Each time you allow yourself to become the next level of your potential you shed another layer that is keeping you from being all that you can be.

And it doesn’t matter what you’re ‘more’ is. People are at different stages of their journey, so for one person her ‘more’ might be to give herself permission to potter round her garden tending her flowers, being at one with nature. For another it might be becoming a world leader to address a specific situation. They are both perfect, it is the willingness to be more that is key, not what you do. People won’t know what you’re doing, unless you choose to tell them, but you will be making a massive difference for yourself, your family and the whole planet just by being this level of you - and being willing to always be more.

For me this extract from the famous quote by Marianne Williamson (A Return To Love: Reflections of A Course in Mracles) says it beautifully:

“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be?... Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won’t feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do... And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.”
